As a licensed attorney, legal educator, and women’s empowerment speaker, I’ve had the honor of speaking at many events—from small board training sessions to large, multi-day national conferences like SXSW. I also utilize the tools to bring the same quality of in-person presentations to virtual events and keep audiences engaged (beyond a jazzy Zoom background).
Your audience is calling to be inspired, rejuvenated, and challenged. The purpose of this page is to give you an understanding and overview of how I can support your important event. I am so delighted that you are considering me as a possible speaker for your event. I hope that this page will give you enough insight to take the next step.
I hope you will get an idea of what I can offer your attendees and a taste of how I bring my personality, presence, and performance to positively impact your event.
Timely and professional replies to your emails and phone calls.
Thorough fact-finding with a team member, so we both understand the best way I can serve you and your audience.
Social media announcements about your event—if this is a public event that requires additional publicity.
A well-prepared, culturally-competent, and powerfully-delivered presentation curated around your audience’s needs.
Resources for your attendees, including slides and links to other helpful sources.
Communication after the event to provide additional support.
My calling is to activate women so they can take agency over their lives and build impactful legacies.
As a Black woman, I understand what it feels like to be talked down to and I definitely do not bring that vibe when I speak.
I have over 14 years of public speaking experience. I have also appeared on national podcasts and local radio, including Austin’s NPR station. Austin Monthly Magazine named me one of Austin’s Top Attorneys in 2020.
As a licensed attorney, much of my work includes legal education and entrepreneurship. No matter the audience, I distill complex topics into a fun, bite-sized way that’s accessible and engaging.
I now devote my time to practicing law and speaking on stages of aligned events.
Outside of speaking, I am a wife to my amazing husband, mom of four children—seven and under, activist, founding attorney of a successful estate planning firm, avid book reader, and a budding gardener (this is tough where I live in Austin, Texas).
